Basic Courses
 Freshman MSC 1011/1021
 Sophomore MSC 2021/2022
These classes are open registration. Basic level cadets must simply complete Basic
Enrollment Application on the ROTC website, in order to participate in activities.
Enrollment into the Basic Courses at satellite schools (NVC, PAC, SAC) follows the same
process as above although course numbers may vary.
Advance Course
 Junior MSC 3013/3023
 Senior MSC 4013/4023
Candidates must complete an approved military history course at UTSA and meet
certain physical requirements along with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Instructor’s permission to
participate may be needed. Cadets can enter the Advance Course after the basic
course, with prior military service, prior JROTC, or completion of Leader’s Training
Course.
