Always 2 to 4 people are working, They are all friendly
Small store but a lot of menu, No seating
Ice cream and snacks near the entrance, Refrigerator which contains many
kinds of juice along the side wall, Bagels, Salads, Delis, many ingredients of
sandwiches are in showcases.
Muffins, Cinnamon bans, Cookies are in the back of the store
They also have a cappuccino maker, small kitchen, tanks of coffee and an oven
The Reason Why I Chose the Store
First, I wanted to visit an owner who works for a big company but it’s very
difficult to see him/her because they are too busy, so I visited a small grocery
store near my apartment. I chose the store because I love foods and the store’s
bagels are very good. I am a frequent customer. Also, I may have my own store
in the future as a bakery store, and I have the same experience. I work at
Japanese café which sells baked goods, salads, sandwiches, lunch boxes, and
cakes and so on. I thought it will benefit me to know the basics of the
entrepreneur even if it is a small store.
The store has been owned since 1990.I was interested in the key to
succeed in the business field in Manhattan for a long time. My goal is to be a
person who can think out the new merchandize or buy in the merchandize
efficient by reading the needs into customers sensitively. Also, I would like to be
active in international business. This project would benefit me to know the current
of Manhattan in the long term, how the owner captures the customer’s trend and
what the owner need to start and operate a business.
