They seem more reliable when you have any problems with your flight. Fast response to the links on the site Willing to provide you with customer service and has a customer service link. Provides good information, easy and fast browsing through information. Very modern, the site is up-to-date and has a warm vibe to where it makes you curious and wants you to browse more, American Airlines They don’t really provide much reliability, except for changing reservations for flights, finding out if there are any delays for scheduling. Fast response to the links on the site Also willing to provide information with a customer service link. Provides good information as well, but it’s sometimes confusing. Simple and original, doesn’t really draw a customer into the site. It has traditional & not-up-to-date website graphics. II. Marriott By using Marriott’s internet reservation system, a customer can find a hotel and book their reservations for any Marriott hotel worldwide. The BBBOnline Privacy Program protects customers’ valuable information when going into business websites where their personal information is needed in any way. Marriott includes its seal on its website to show to customers’ that they can be trusted and they want customers to be able to trust the internet more with the BBBOnline Privacy Program. Chapter 13—Net Savvy Assignment I. eBay The pricing options that eBay provides is and auction-like bidding option to which the customer would have to bid up on others to win the product or they can find an option that says “Buy It Now.” The “Buy It Now” option is set to a certain price that can’t be changed once purchased. Depends on the product, the product can be the least expensive but the quality is not good, while spending a little more, the product can be in good shape. It also works vice versa. Amazon.com would be somewhat identical in some ways. However, it doesn’t have the same options as to eBay. The pricing and buying options are slightly different. If a customer had to buy a copy of a book, it’s best that they check Barnes and Nobles first to see if there are any used books before buying on eBay or Amazon. The reason is that these kind of auctioning type of websites tends to deliver slower that a bookstore, and that a customer would have to pay a higher shipping & handling price. Whereas Barnes and Nobles, the prices would be cheaper and more reasonable. II. Dell The starting price of a Dimension 3000 desktop without a monitor would be $289 (in US dollars). In the UK, the Dimension 3000 starting price would be 299EU ($397 US dollars). The desktop doesn’t vary it’s the exact same desktop. The reason is because of the recession, foreign dollars worth more than the US dollars.
