The following is a list of items that might make your stay at Skidmore more
comfortable.
 Cell phone and charger
 All personal toiletries, including soap, washcloths, a small mirror, and shower
shoes
 Large bath towel--although towels are provided, you may want your own bathsized towel
 Pillow—although a pillow will be provided, you may want to bring your own
 Cool and casual clothingSaratoga Springs can be hot!
 An umbrella and/or poncho in case of rain
 An extra blanket and sweatshirt in case of cooler weather
 Alarm clock--there is no "wake-up service"
 Small study lamp (residence halls can be dark)
 Any applicable kitchen utensils (coffee maker, plates, cups.) Although meals will
be provided to you in the dining hall, the apartment kitchens are not stocked.
 Radio
 Small portable fan (not all residence halls are air-conditioned)
 Clothes hangers
 Portable iron
 Hair dryer
