TENURE AND PROMOTION DOSSIERS FOR FALL 2016 SUBMISSION
(September 2017 effective date)
Applicant Instructions: Once I have created your folder, I will send you a link with the subject line:
“Susan Fitzgerald has shared some resources with you”. You should copy that link and open it.
Open and bookmark your dossier folder in UMdrive:

Open your internet browser.
Login with your uuid and password (same as your email)
Click on ‘Bookmarks’ in gray bar near the top of the screen.
Select ‘Bookmark this folder.”
In the ‘Bookmark Name’ field, type whatever you want to name your bookmark (e.g. My Dossier).
Click OK.
Please bookmark your dossier NOW and test your access to upload documents. If you have any access
problems contact Susan Fitzgerald immediately.
Upload your documents into your dossier folder according to the Table of Contents provided at the end of
this document. Be sure to use the numbering system provided.

1) If you need copies of Annual Evaluations from previous years, contact Debra Turner
(dmturner@memphis.edu) in CAS. For candidates applying for Promotion to Full Professor, you
need only provide information since your Tenure and Promotion date.

Ignore the Recommendation Form link on the website. That form is uploaded by the Department Chair,
not the applicant.
3) Sete/SIRS reports are available on the Provost’s website at

4) Your University CV is available on the Provost’s website at
http://www.memphis.edu/aa/resources/facres/cvinfo/index.php.
You must use the University CV format.
5) When you have completed your dossier and are ready for departmental review to begin, NOTIFY
YOUR DEPARTMENT CHAIR. There is no automatic notification in the system. Your department
sets the deadline for you to be finished.

better than others for reviewers.
