For Immediate Release: Student Government Hosts Open Forum to Provide Resolution for Housing Concerns in Jupiter JUPITER, Fla. (January 26th, 2016) – The Jupiter branch of Florida Atlantic University’s Student Government hosted an open forum on January 26, 2016, at 7:00 PM. The purpose of this event was to provide a space for students to express their concerns regarding housing. The information and opinions collected will be used to compose a resolution that will, in conjunction with administration, work to provide a suitable solution that will serve as best as possible the needs of the Jupiter student body. Student Government leaders involved include: Governor Matthew Merems; Chief of Staff Michael Habib; Jupiter House Speaker Danielle Salick; Student Body President Kathryn Edmunds; Program Board Assistant Liberty Boyd; and SAVI Director Hannah Bauduin. Student Government officials were accompanied by University administrators, including: Dean Jeffrey Buller; Associate Dean Dr. Mark Tunick; Executive Housing Director Dr. Larry Faerman; Assistant Director for Residential and Student Life Donald Van Pelt, Jr.; and Director of Campus Life Julie Kincaid.
