Parents,
It is hard to believe, but we have come to the end of another successful school year at Galena Park Elementary. As
you enjoy your summer, keep in mind that registration will begin in August for any new students to GPE (PreK5th). If your child is presently enrolled in GPE, you should have re-enrolled them by now by providing a utility bill.
New enrollees to the Galena Park District need to enroll at www.galenaparkisd.com and then bring the necessary
documents to the school. Only new students to Pre-k will need to do the whole registration process at the school.
The dates are as follows:
August 11th – 8am to 6pm
August 12th – 8am to 3pm
August 13th – 8am to 3pm
You will be expected to sign in upon arrival. We ask that you come prepared to spend, at least, a few hours
enrolling your child, as it is a long process. In order to make it easier, please remember to bring the necessary
documents with you for enrollment.

 Current Shot Record
Your
 Current TX driver’s license or ID
 Current gas, water, or light bill only.
If you cannot provide a utility bill, a lease or contract will be accepted. If you are living with a Galena Park resident
and cannot provide your own proof of residency, like a utility bill or lease, you will have to have a notarized and
approved affidavit in order to enroll your child. Please call the school for further information or come by to pick up
