The Norman Zavalkoff Family, McGill – Israel Exchange Travel Fund Award: This is an annual travel award granted with the intent to support an exchange of graduate or postdoctoral students enrolled in the IWRM Masters program of McGill University and BenGurion University of the Negev’s Jacob Blaustein Institute for Desert Research. Each year one award will be given to two students, one from each institute, in support of costs incurred (travel and living costs) for an exchange for a semester or period of studies and research at the partner institute. Students wishing to apply must forward a letter of intent, an official academic transcript, plus two reference letters to the attention of Ms. Susan Gregus, Department of Bioresource Engineering, McGill University, 21111 Lakeshore Road, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, H9X 3V9 by November 15th of each year. The awards will be granted by the end of November. The awards must then be put into effect and completed by December of the following year. The Director of the IWRM program will aid the awardees to coordinate collaborative study programs and define study deliverables. A budget must be established well in advance of travel.
