about signing and ratifying the international instruments on human rights from which
Fiji is not yet party?

What measures have been taken to ensure the independence of the judiciary and
respect for due process, in line with international human rights standards? What
arrangements have been established to allow the country visit requested by the Special
Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers?

Given the recent enactment of the Constitution, which mechanisms have been adopted
to ensure that its implementation adheres to the principles of human rights enshrined
in international instruments?
