are inquisitive and want to build software development, analytical and methodology skills in a highly
distributed transaction volume processing environment.
The Vantiv APIs and Portals Engineering team develops leading edge distributed technologies intent
upon recreating the payment experience. We develop scalable software solutions through an open and
collaborative working environment. We are transforming payments through service oriented solutions
and value added services which enable third-party developers to integrate to Vantiv's Software as a
Service Cloud platform. Our platforms enable everyone from a single mobile application developer to
the largest national merchant to effectively manage the payment processing data they care about.
This is a unique opportunity to join a team that works across many functional areas including cloud
computing, user experience, algorithms, computer architecture, computer networks, distributed
computing, high performance computing, parallel processing, database systems and software
engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of
the internship
DESIRED SKILLS:
* Experience with algorithm design
* Object Oriented Programming
* Experience with data structures
* Java or C# development
* Familiar with TCP/IP and networking
* Database modeling is a plus
GENERAL FUNCTION: The College Intern will provide support as assigned within the designated line of
business.
