clean and safe.
LIVINGSTON EDUCATION WEEK
Looking to volunteer? We can use you to help sign in visitors at the school on either Monday, Nov
23 or Tuesday, Nov 24 for Livingston Education Week. This is an easy activity and you can pair up
with a friend. We need volunteers throughout the day starting at 8:30 AM. Please contact Kathleen
Small at smallbk@aol.com if you can help.

The 5th grade is sponsoring a clothing drive which will be held on Saturday, November 14th, 2009.
The items to be collected are as follows:

Wearable & useable clothing (men’s, women’s & children’s)

Shoes, belts, scarves, gloves, ties and handbags

Household items made of fabric in good condition (blankets, linens, bedspreads, tablecloths,
towels & curtains)

Stuffed animals, rag dolls & beanie babies

Hard toys such as cars, trucks, airplanes, action figures, dolls & doll houses
The school will receive a donation for the total poundage that we can collect. Please make sure that
all clothing & items are in well tied plastic garbage bags. Please drop off your items between the
hours of 8am-11am at the Kindergarten doors. There will be a truck arriving at the school at
11am to load all items from the sidewalk.
We could use some help from some of our 5th graders and parents to transfer the items from the
sidewalk to the truck. Please contact Amy Dinicola if you are able to volunteer during the hours of 811AM.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please call Amy Dinicola at 973.535.1912.
Thank you for all of your anticipated help and continued generosity.
