Campus Timetabling (CMIS)

Service Description

Access to the data contained within the Campus Timetabling database is available via the CMIS client. This software provides information on rooms, lecturers, modules, bookings etc. It also allows the user (with the correct access permissions) to place bookings in their own department rooms or request bookings and update details on existing bookings on Campus Timetabling managed rooms. The client software package must be installed on the users PC.

2. Prerequisites.

To make use of the services outlined above, you require:

Staff Number: A valid University of Glasgow staff number is required. If you do not have one, contact your territorial HR manager.

College/School Code: If a code is required please refer to http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/it/forstaff/businessapplications/orgstructure for a full list.

Registration

Once Campus Timetabling has approved your application they will inform you of your CMIS client login and password and arrange installation of the software and training.

Your access permissions will be reviewed annually and you will be requested via email to confirm that you still require access.
