BELLAHOUSTON SCHOLARSHIP 2016-17
GUIDELINES FOR APPLICANTS
The Trustees of the Bellahouston Bequest have provided four 1-year Scholarships, one each in
Arts, Engineering, Science and Biomedical and Life Sciences. In Arts, the Scholarship will be
awarded on the recommendation of the Graduate School Board. The terms of the Scholarship in
Arts are as follows:

available only to Home Postgraduate Students undertaking a Masters (Taught or Research)
Degree Course offered within the College of Arts

preference for Glaswegians

renewable for a second year, if appropriate.

value £1,200 for one year

if no suitable nominee, the Scholarship will be offered to one of the other Colleges

a short report for the Trustees on what has been achieved as a result of the Scholarship is
required by the end of the academic session
