Our intended outcome was that at least
70% of the students would score 85% or

Summary of Data Collected
Seven classes participated in the
assessment. Based on the overall
results of the Speech 121 classes we
were able to meet our intended
outcome.
The results are as follows:
85 % received 100% on the test, 10%
received 80% and 5% received 70%
or below.
Use of Results
Based on the results, students are
able to discriminate between
components of qualitative and
quantitative communication.
The committee will meet and
decide which SLO to assess for
