Institutional Learning Outcomes 3 3 Course Intended Outcomes (1) Students will be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of computer operations as they apply to an educational setting. (2) Students will demonstrate ability to operate selected computer programs, equipment and assistive technology when appropriate. Means of Assessment and Criteria for Success 75% of the students will be able to access and navigate the operating system, create, print, and save a document, use email and the student information system at the college. 75% of the students will be able to use individually selected assistive technology. Summary of Data Collected Use of Results S’10 n=6 100% F’10 n=6 83% S’11 n=7 71% of the students were able to meet minimum to average skill levels. Analyze the activities to determine if additional exercises need to be developed to ensure better than average computer skills. S’11 analyze who is taking the class and whether they are able to use the skills independent of assistance in the HTC. Because of the limited number of students taking advantage of this instruction, information needs to be disseminated through the program counselors. S’10 (n=2) 100% of students learned basics of assistive software and were able to apply it to their classwork.
