Using Sony Soloist to Record Your Voice
How to use Sony Soloist (Speech Lab 1554 or 1555) to record your voice for a graded recording
Rewind ~ Stop / Play ~ Fast Forward ~ Record ~ Volume

Record your
voice.
Review your
recording.

1. Click on the icon of the closed file.
2. When prompted (“Save sound recording
before closing?”), click on “Yes.”
Save your
recording.

Make these
changes
before you
save the file.
For use with Speech 3 (EAP 0300)
1. Save your file on the desktop.
2. Save your recording as an mp3 file.

Click on the
SAVE
button.

Log into
your
MyMDC
email
account.
Send me
your
recording by
email.

To: speech3mdc@hotmail.com; your email address (so that you will receive a copy
of the recording

Subject: Your Name

Click on “Attach a file”
to attach the recording
to the email.

Make sure the recording
appears as an attachment
to the message.

Click on “Send.”
