Lab Rules
Students are expected to use lab computers for class work only. Students’ final grade will be reduced (without discussion or notice)
after the first warning and/or students may be asked to leave the lab when computers are used for anything other than work for
this class. This includes internet access and other personal uses. No downloads without permission from Instructor or Lab Manager.
Unauthorized use of the printer is prohibited and will result in final grade reduction after the first warning.
Disruptive behavior of any kind, as perceived by the instructor, will be handled immediately.
A final grade reduction will result after the first warning. Continued disruptive behavior after the first warning will result in expulsion
from remaining class sessions of the term or instructor withdrawal when within the withdrawal period. Please refer to the Students
rights and responsibilities handbook for more information.
No cell phones or beepers, head phones or cd players can be used in the lab.
Course Policies:
Missed Classes: The student is responsible for obtaining material distributed on class days when he/she was absent. Missed or late
exam cannot be made up under any circumstances but with good cause and adequate notice, an early test may be given.
Attendance Policy: Attendance is required at all lectures. After four consecutive absences you will be dropped from the course. If
late 15 min. or if you leave class early it may be counted as an absence.
