The spends most of its day sleeping, seeking food, and eating. It does mot hibernate like other bears. The giant pandas offspring is called a cub. The panda can only give proper attention to one cub. This means that if two are born, only one will survive. giant pandas can produce a cub only every other year, which is one reason they listed as endangered.
