administration. Student will be sent to administration in the event of a severe
disruption.
Grading Scale:
100-90--A
89-80--B
79-70-- C
69-60—D
Below 60—F
Other Requirements:
Classroom needs:
1. Notebooks: You are required to bring a three-ring binder with loose leaf paper to class
EVERYDAY. You need a good supply of college rule composition paper. All notes, handouts,
and homework will be kept in this notebook.
2. Pencil, Blue/Black Ink Pen, and highlighter
Absences:
An absence (excused/unexcused) does not excuse you from making up work that you missed. If students
miss more than 3 days per 9 weeks students will need to make up 30 minutes for each additional absence.
Make up time should be made up as soon as possible. If time has not been made up by the end of the 9
weeks your grade will be replaced with an FA.
Tardies: It is policy that students are written up after 4 Tardies. Please make every effort to be on time to
class each day.
Respect:
Respect is very important to my class. We discuss very controversial issues with a wide array of
viewpoints and beliefs. The rule to remember here is that you DO NOT have to agree with me or anyone
else in class, but you may NOT disrespect someone because he or she sees things differently. Any
disrespectful behavior, which includes disruption, will result in parental contact, deduction on your
participation grade, and possibly administrative action.
MACBOOK POLICY:
1. No Macbooks out unless instructed to do so.
2. ONLY content related class will be allowed
3. Absolutely NO social networks, games, youtube, etc…
