Les Adjectifs Démonstratifs
1. Ce/cet; cette; ces means this, that, these, those, and they are demonstrative adjectives that
demonstrate/show a person or a thing. The adjective you use depends on whether the NOUN
you’re referring to is masculine, feminine, singular or plural and whether or not it begins with
a vowel sound.
2. When you want to emphasize something or someone, add –là to the end of the statements with
ce/cet; cette or ces. (For example: Ce manteau est joli, mais ce manteau-là est mon style.)
