Tuesday

2. Warm up for Renaissance figure drawing and painting: in your sketchbook, using a pen, draw the model’s
full figure, in BLIND CONTOURS. You have TWO MINUTES. You will view the model from an
unusual view: looking up in the stairwell. Focus on speed and accuracy.
3. In your sketchbook, using a pen, draw the model’s full figure, in CONTOURS. You have 10 MINUTES.
Focus on relationships between parts of the body, where they touch or appear to touch.
4. Work on stained glass, due Duesday 10 May.
Wednesday
1. Art show directions: Mounting artworks, physical examples & slideshow.
2. Warm up for Renaissance figure drawing and painting: in your sketchbook, using a pen, draw the model’s
full figure, in GESTURE DRAWINGs. You have TWO MINUTES…You will be looking down on the
model in the stairwell. Focus on speed and movement.
3. In your sketchbook, using a pen, draw the model’s full figure, in CONTOURS. You have 10 MINUTES.
Focus on improved accuracy

Thursday
1. Art show directions: The grading rubric will be explained. Take it home and grade yourself!
2. Warm up for Renaissance figure drawing and painting: in your sketchbook, using a pen, draw the model’s
full figure, in BLIND CONTOURS. You have TWO MINUTES…You will sit on a table looking down at
the model on the floor.
3. In your sketchbook, using a pen, draw the model’s full figure, in CONTOURS. You have 10 MINUTES.
4. Work on stained glass, due Duesday 10 May.
Friday
1. Art show reminders and questions answered.
2. Warm up for Renaissance figure drawing and painting: in your sketchbook, using a pen, draw the model’s
full figure, in GESTURE DRAWINGs. You have TWO MINUTES…The model lay down on the table,
sitting on a chair. You will be on the tables or sitting on chairs.
