Between 1/2011 – 1/2013, the 112th Congress introduced 12,299 pieces of
legislation. This includes both bills and resolutions (resolutions could be something
like sending condolences to another country after a natural disaster). Predict how
many were passed/enacted into law. And after you see the answer, why is it so
difficult to pass legislation? Should it be? Why or why not?
