The main character in Wonder is Auggie. A character trait I
would use to describe Auggie would be shy. In the story, he was
scared to meet Mr. Tushman at the new school. When he arrived at
school, he was surprised to find out that he would meet other
students. He was afraid that the other students wouldn't like him
because he looked different. When he went to meet Mrs. G, he hid
behind his mom. Auggie was also scared to go to a school for the
first time.
