A Glance at Next Week…
Theme ~Dr. Seuss
Phonics ~ Word families for –ap, -at, and
–an, building sentences.
Sight Words ~Continue practicing!
Writing ~Students should be able to
write 2-3 sentences on a given topic,
using phonetic spelling, spaces, and some
punctuation.
Dictation~ Writing rhymes and silly
stories from Dr. Seuss
Math ~We will be working on addition,
numbers to 100, and review of 2D & 3D
shapes.
Your child should be able to: count to
75 by one’s, count to 100 by 10’s, count
up to 20 objects and write numbers 020. At this point your child should know
all the sight words from the
kindergarten list A and almost mastered
list B.

Anyone interested can make a
Leprechaun trap and bring it to
school on March 16th.
