America Week:

What We Will Learn:
Reading: We will read Dear Juno. We
will focus on drawing conclusions and
visualizing.
Letterland: All words will end with es. These
words fall into 3 categories. The suffix es is
added to words ending in sh,ch,ss,x,and zz.
They also learn to change y to I when adding
es to words such as baby,try. Last, base
words that end with an e only need an s.
Math: We will continue with partitioning a
rectangle into rows and columns of same size
squares and count to find the total number.
Also,use addition to find the total number of
objects arranged in rectangular arrays with up
to 5 rows/columns; write an equation to express
the total as a sum of equal addends.
Social Studies: Read Across America Week

minutes and record.
