This week…(Highlights topics for the week) Reading: Skill- Context Clues & Sequencing Important information… Math: Multiplying 2 & 3 digit numbers Science: Weather Unit THIS WEEK’S PROBE: NONE (Columbus Day probe will be assigned next week with a due date of: 10/16/15) _________________________________________ Items needed for upcoming STEAM lessons: Aluminum foil, popsicle sticks, newspaper, towls, paper bowls, toilet paper rolls, empty cereal boxes, packing peanuts, brown paper bags. Dates to remember… Reminders! 10/16/16 Field trip $ 15 is DUE by SCIENCE FAIR TOPICS are DUE MONDAY 10/5/15. Science fair projects should be well under way. Don’t forget these need to be presented in class on Monday November 16th. Parents are welcome to come to Science Fair Night on Thursday November 19th @ 6:00pm in our Media Center. Remember also, projects should test a theory- NOT be a demonstration or display (ie: no volcanos, no solar systems). You should have a question that you are trying to answer by testing one variable. The links on my website are very helpful if you are still looking for ideas!! No spelling words or spelling homework this week.
