Baseline Assessment Teacher Directions
Visual Arts 6th-8th Grade
Teacher directions:
 Print the baselines. When you make copies, print on both sides of the paper (there are
parts of the directions that will only make sense if they are copied and stapled this way).
 Administer the Baseline to every Visual Arts student during the 1st week of each
semester, and score the assessment.
Materials Needed:
 Copies of the Baseline Assessment for each student
 This direction sheet and the answer key
 A computer/laptop hooked up to a projector with an electronic copy of the baseline
would be helpful to project the image on the baseline in color
