The Janjaweed is funded by the government to carry out acts of violence against civilians and defend against the SLM and JEM. (Good)-The main rebel groups are the Sudanese Liberation movement(SLM), the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM), and the United Nations-African Union mission (UNAMID).
