What is the Electoral College
• It is the process by which we elect the president
• we don’t directly vote for president
• we vote for electors who then vote for president
• electors sound like delegates but they are NOT
• Winner-Takes-All
• in 47 states whoever gets the majority of votes get ALL of that states
electors
• 270
• the magic number you must get to in order to win.
