As part of your comprehensive benefits package, The Counseling Center of Iredell provides up to three visits of CONFIDENTIAL counseling at no charge under the Employee Assistance Program sponsored by ISS. The work of the Counseling Center of Iredell is organized into the following components: 1. CRISIS INTERVENTION AND SUPPORT SERVICES Assessment and referral services Face-to-face crisis counseling Community education to public, civic groups, etc. Contact with self-help support community 2. INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY SERVICES Parenting education Child and adolescent support Counseling for domestic violence victims Pre- and post-marital counseling Managing loss, grief, and bereavement issues Depression and anxiety treatment Suicide prevention support Assessment and clinical case management Family therapy (traditional, single, blended) 3. SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES Assessment, intervention, and referral DWI assessment and treatment (not covered by EAP services) Treatment for alcohol, drug, and polydrug abuse and addiction Individual, family, and group outpatient therapy Referrals to self-help support groups: AA, NA, etc. Morning and evening treatment options Care for co-dependency issues Community education and outreach services Networking with court system, detox agencies, etc. Call the Counseling Center of Iredell at 704-872-7638 for an appointment to be arranged.
