LINES
Point: an exact place in space

Line: a set of points that create an endless line going in both
directions.
Line segment: a set of points on a line with two end points.

Ray: a set of point on a line with one end point and one end going
on endlessly in one direction.

TYPES OF LINES:
Parallel - two lines that run beside each other but never cross
Intersecting: two lines that cross each other at one point
Perpendicular: two lines that cross each other on a right angle,
creating a perfect square
Congruent Shapes
Congruent shapes have the same SIZE and same SHAPE
Similar shapes are the same shape but have different sizes
Symmetry
Both sides of an object are equal in size, shape, and
content.
The object can be folded on the line of symmetry and
both sides will be the same.
