SUBJECT: Google Voice Make-Up Assignment Instructions
We are happy to introduce the newest way to make up missing playing quizzes at
JML! Google Voice is a new way to send recordings to your teacher without
having to come to school early.
Google Voice is a voicemail service, exactly as you would see on your personal
phone. Your teacher is able to log into their Google account from their computer
and check their “messages” and listen to any playing quizzes that have been
recorded.
The number to call is 540-407-BAND

It is important to note that this phone number is NOT anyone’s personal phone
number. If your child calls, no one will answer. It is not the school’s phone number
either. No phone will actually ring, it is strictly for leaving voicemails.
The phone number you are calling from will be recorded, but not saved or called
back.
Here’s how you do it!
1. Check Phoenix StudentVUE or ParentVUE to see which assignments are
missing.
2. Practice them! Get them performance-ready.
3. Using any phone, call the phone number above and wait for the beep.
4. State your first and last name.
5. Play your quiz from start to finish.
6. Say “thank you” and hang up to complete your quiz.
I will be notified immediately by Google Voice if a new quiz is submitted. I will
listen and update the gradebook with scores and comments.
