Dear Fifth Grade Student,
I hope you are having a wonderful summer break! I would
like to welcome you to the fifth grade at Catoctin Elementary
School. My name is Mrs. Painter and I will be your teacher this
year. This will be my twelfth year of teaching and second year
at Catoctin. When I am not in my classroom, I enjoy spending
time with my family and friends, watching football, and
reading.
Throughout the year we will be working on preparing you
for the middle school. Taking on more responsibility, focusing
on your academics, and interacting with your classmates will
be important components to be successful. Of course we will
need to have a little fun along the way!
I can’t wait for the school year to start, and I am excited to
meet you. Together we will work hard to make your fifth grade
year a success. Our best days are ahead! Enjoy the rest of your
summer and I will see you soon!
