The third of four book shares is due
very soon! Book share projects are
due Monday, April 4th. This is a
wonderful opportunity for students
to explore a new genre and really
challenge themselves. Projects
should be rehearsed and display
their understanding of the book.

We are STILL in desperate need of dryerase markers! We use them very
frequently for math practice and in small
groups. If you can, please send in a pack
as soon as possible. It would be greatly
appreciated. Also, now is a good time to
check with your child to see how they are
on their personal supplies such as glue
and pencils. Thanks!

Notes from the teacher:

The students are putting together something very special and
would love to have you in to see their hard work. Mark your
calendar for April 14th at noon. You won’t want to miss this.
Invitations are coming and students must be in professional
dress. 
DATE CHANGE: The Waterford field trip is now Wednesday
April 20st, 2016. Permission slips are now overdue! Please
return them as well as payment as soon as possible. Also, begin
thinking about appropriate clothing for the late 1800’s era.
Students must be in full costume the day of the Waterford
trip. It’s an unforgettable experience.
The Mount Vernon/Gunston Hall field trip has been
rescheduled for April 28th, 2016. New permission slips are in
today’s Thursday folder. No payment is needed but please sign
the new permission slips and return then ASAP.


