Do now: In a min. of 3 lines: Explain where your
home is located.
By the end of class, I will learn the difference
between relative and absolute location. Additionally,
I will learn how to read and plot coordinates on a
map.
Homework: For Thursday, you must have the entire
note packet for the handbook completed. You will
receive either: full, partial, or zero credit. If you are
missing the notes that I provided on Thursday 28
August, they can be found on my teacher page in the
folder “daily PowerPoint/warm—ups.”

Equator.

You will be called up by number: You are responsible for your
number the entire year.

You are to go to my teacher website.

You are to practice reading and plotting longitude and latitude.

You only have permission to be working on coordinates or states
and capitals. You will lose Internet privileges if you are on
another site.

There are two apps on the Ipads for states and capitals.

You will be called to return the Ipads with 5 mins left in class.

No one is permitted to leave until all Ipads are returned and placed
back in their appropriate space.
