UNDERSTANDING GOALS
(CONCEPTS):
Students will understand:
In this chapter, students will learn to describe
their family and home. To do this, they will
learn vocabulary associated with family
members and housing. They will also learn to
use the verb tener to describe what kind of
family and house they have. They will also
learn the possessive adjectives. The cultural
focus of the chapter is the importance of the
family in Hispanic cultures.

 Describing their family
