The AM&AA will feature the FIRST PRIVATE EQUITY FORUM to be held on Thursday, January
22, 2009. The AM&AA is offering a limited number of Private Equity Firms the opportunity to
showcase companies exclusively to the lower middle market.
Deal Origination Research Participant
Exhibitors at the Conference will have the opportunity to participate in a research initiative led by
David Teten, a Managing Director of Evalueserve, the world's largest knowledge process
outsourcing company. He is writing a definitive white paper on Best Practices in Private Equity
Deal Origination." Responses will be kept strictly confidential and will be reported in the
aggregate. The results will be announced at the conference on Thursday, January 22.

On Thursday Morning, January 22 there is a Deal Expo where you will hear from deal makers
about active buy/sell engagements.
Corporate Development
The conference will devote two sessions to Corporate M & A. There will be presentation on
Merger Integration by Doug Banton and David Vandeveer of Sterling Commerce, a subsidiary of
AT&T followed by a panel discussion on Corporate M & A Deal Structuring.
