SAGE Student Questionnaire As part of our assessment efforts, starting in 2007, we will ask that each participating SAGE student complete the following questionnaire. SAGE QUESTIONNAIRE FOR HIGH SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS Strongly disagree 1. I am more confident about my future because I have learned business skills. 2. I have seen that reading, mathematics, writing, and other school subjects are essential to a successful business. 3. A business should concentrate on making money. Helping the community should be considered afterwards, when a profit has been made. 4. I believe that the goal of any business for which I work should be to give at least 10% of profit to the community. 5 Global trade always helps the poor in other countries raise their standard of living. 7. The more people teach and practice democracy, the higher the standard of living will rise for them. 8. Economics is a difficult subject to understand and should be left to experts like those on the Federal Reserve. 9. Every businessperson should be required to make a business plan which helps the environment in some way, even if the business cannot avoid polluting or creating waste. 10.
