My doctoral dissertation utilized Hermeneutic Phenomenology in understanding the
Meaning of Doctoral Coursework for Midlife Female Nursing Faculty. Additionally, I
have graduate hours in Sociology with an emphasis in women’s issues.
Current Research:
Development of Professional Nursing Values: Dissonance in results between generic
undergraduate nursing students and RN to BSN students (with Jill Mayo,
Elizabeth Twiner, and Deb Welch)
Hispanic Satisfaction with Healthcare Encounters in a Tri-County Area of Mississippi
