The University of Sydney Faculty of Education and Social Work Role of Associate Deans Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching) Roles and Responsibilities In conjunction with Dean, Associate Deans for Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies, and Professoriate, provide leadership in the teaching and learning activities of the Faculty. Support the development and innovation of teaching in the Faculty. Co-ordinate Learning and Teaching forums. Prepare and monitor the Learning and Teaching Strategic Plan of the Faculty. Chair the Learning and Teaching Committee of the Faculty. Member of the Faculty Management Committee and Academic Programs Management Committee. Oversee the preparation of a list of Faculty publications and activities in relation to research-led teaching and scholarship in teaching. Represent the Faculty on appropriate University Committees. Prepare and present an annual report to the Faculty. Co-ordinate submissions of TIF/TIES/TIP and other teaching grant applications.
