HOW TO FIND A WORK-STUDY JOB Congratulations, you have been awarded work-study for the 2001-02 academic year. To find a job: Review the Job Descriptions that are printed in the Brewton-Parker College Archway Newspaper under Work-Study Want Ads. The newspaper should be in your campus box August 23, 2001. Select a job that interests you and set up an interview with the contact listed. If both you and the employer are satisfied with the interview, come to the Financial Aid Office to pick up a Referral Form. THE REFERRAL FORM SHOULD BE RETURNED IMMEDIATELY TO THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE AFTER YOU AND YOUR SUPERVISOR HAVE SIGNED IT. THE BUSINESS OFFICE WILL NOT PRINT WORK-STUDY CHECKS WITHOUT CONFIRMATION THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED A JOB. When you have completed your referral form, you will receive a workstudy handbook that will provide other useful information including how to complete timesheets and how pay checks are distributed. IF YOU HAVE NOT FOUND A WORK-STUDY POSITION OR CONTACTED THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE TO INFORM US OF YOUR INTEREST BY SEPTEMBER 7TH, WE WILL ASSUME THAT YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN WORKSTUDY.
