with your 1) expert group and then your 2) home group.
3. (3rd) Play Balderdash game using vocabulary from In
Cold Blood.
4. (1st/5th) In your reading circle, complete worksheet on
Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong from The
Things They Carried.
5. (1st/5th)Through film clips, analyze another aspect of
war: coming home (“PTSD”) and its psychological
effects on the soldier and the people around them.
Then compare the trauma that modern-day warriors
suffer to any characters from Things They Carried?
