AP English Language and Composition
AGENDA:
1. In groups, read selected Shakespearean passages and
determine his philosophy on life.
2. With clock buddy, read beginning of Act V between
Prospero and Ariel. Using the “feeding in” acting
technique (one actor, one shadow speaker for each
role), read excerpts from Act V and discuss concept of
forgiveness: why did Prospero have a change of heart?
Discuss implications of Lord’s Prayer and connection
to The Tempest.
3. Complete multiple choice on whether the English
language is really in a bad way…review answers.
