Greetings,
Welcome to the Fall 2009 semester at The Perdue School of Business. I am your
faculty advisor for the semester and I am here to assist you in planning your classes,
choosing appropriate majors, minors and tracks. Let me tell you something about
myself:
My office is located in Caruthers Hall, Room ______. My office hours are:
_______________.
I prefer to be contacted by (phone, email) to set up an appointment for advising or to
answer any questions you have.
Please take a few minutes to read through the advising information for current students
found at: http://www.salisbury.edu/perdueadvising/index.html. You can also use this
link to ask questions of another valuable resource, the Student Business Leaders.
My expectations are that you will accept responsibility for your academic progression
and decisions; review your degree progress report each semester and track your
progression; meet with me at least once this semester; come prepared to all advising
meetings with questions and advising materials; review SU and PSB policies and
procedures in your catalog; seek out help when needed, do not wait until the last
minute; and check your GroupWise account on a weekly basis.
I look forwarding to working with you. Please don’t hesitate to communicate any
questions or concerns you have over the semester.
