Dr. Peter C. Meade is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery and Director of the Surgery Clerkship Program at Tulane University School of Medicine (New Orleans, LA). He has been with Tulane’s Department of Surgery since July 2008. Dr. Meade received his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame (South Bend, IN) and his Medical Degree from Albany Medical College (Albany, NY). He did his general surgery residency training at New York Medical College (New York, NY). He did his surgery fellowship training at San Bernardino County Hospital (San Bernardino, CA) and his trauma/critical care fellowship training at King/Drew Medical Center (Los Angeles, CA). Throughout Dr. Meade’s career, he has received many teaching awards including two from the Owl Club at Tulane University School of Medicine for “Best Teacher” (2010) and “Best Surgery Attending” (2011). Dr. Meade is well published, having 19 publications.
