What is the GDP?

GDP (production) is the market value of all final
goods and services produced within a country during
a given time period.
GDP (income) is sum of compensation of employees,
consumption of fixed capital, net taxes on product
and net operating surplus or mixed income.
GDP (expenditure) approach is the value of final
consumption expenditure, gross capital formation
and net exports of goods and services.
