Birthday’s
On your child’s birthday, you are welcome to send a
special snack to help celebrate their exciting day!
PLEASE make sure your ‘treat’ has a label indicating
that there are no traces of peanuts or peanut oil in
the treat you will be serving per the JPS rules.
CAUTION: even if the treat you choose does not have
peanuts, pay close attention to the bottom of the
labels. It often states “manufactured on the same
equipment that also makes products containing
peanuts and tree nuts.” We are not allowed to serve
treats with those labels either.
To help out, our school nurse will be glad to give you a
list of some appropriate snacks/places that provide
labels.
