Transitioning SVAC I&T Tools to ISOC
Section 3.3
SPECIFIC REQUEST:
Add some material that clarifies the benefits that the ISOC is getting from the efforts of and tools
being developed by the Science Verification Analysis and Calibration (SVAC) team. Clarify how
the tools will transition to the ISOC, and that the SVAC tools do actually meet many of the ISOC
requirements.
REASON/COMMENT:
It was not readily apparent how the SVAC team’s activities and tools will support the ISOC
requirements, be transitioned to the ISOC, etc. Given the complexity of this software, and the fact that
a lot of risk is being mitigated by using the same tools for I&T and operations, this story needs to be
told a bit more strongly.
