SCOPE Scope of this document is t define the contents and responsibility relevant to the End Item Data Package (EIDP) for system, sub-system and unit. 2. APPLICABILITY This procedure is applicable to space product realized by INFN. 3. REFERENCE DOCUMENTS - - 4. ISO 9001 Model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing; LAT-MD-00039 Performance assurance implementation plan. DEFINITION 4.1 EIDP Is defined EIDP (End Item Data Package) the collection of documents, information, results of the activities performed on the product that gives the complete conformance to contractual requirements. This collection must contain all information necessary to verify, from the customer, the final configuration of the product, of it’s performances and the respect, during manufacturing integration and test, of the applicable standard process and procedures. 4.2 LOG-BOOK It is defined Log-Book the document in which are chronologically recorded data and activities relevant to manufacturing, assembling, integration and tests of system, subsystem and space unit in order to have complete traceability of all activities performed, providing in real time the configuration status and results of the performance relevant to the product. This document is part of the EIDP. 5. ISSUING, UPDATING AND DISTRIBUTION The “quality control” is responsible for issuing, updating and distribution of this procedure. 6. PROCEDURE CONTENTS 6.0 INTRODUCTION The configuration, the preparation and the EIDP closure, are function of the system, subsystem and unit documentation, of the activities performed and of the specific customer requirements. SECTIONS CONTENTS DESCRIPTION SECT.1 Certificate of conformance This section contain the certificate of conformance of the product versus technical, quality and contractual requirements. SECT.2 Customer acceptance certificate, DRB minutes, shipping documents PRC/Pi/QC/005 Issue: A Pag. 6 of 9 This section contain the customer acceptance certificate relevant to product filled during DRB meeting with eventually reserve (concern), open action and the reference to final report, copy of the DRB minutes and shipping documents SECT.3 Configuration item data list Contain the list of the documents that define the technical characteristics, functional and operative, of the product SECT.4 Drawings Contain all drawings according to contractually requested SECT.5 List of request for eaiver/deviations (RFW/RFD) and copies Contains the last status of the RFW/RFD applicable to the product and relevant copies SECT.6 Log-Book Contains all recording of the activity performed during manufacturing, assembling, integration and tests. In addition to that there are reported: - Hardware configuration status - Connectors mate demate - Unit operating hours (Item limited life) - NCR minor/major list - RFW/RFD list and copies SECT.7 Design verification and compliant matrix Contains the test matrix in order to verify project requirement SECT.8 User/operating manual Contains the user manual of the product or the specific instruction for correct product use SECT.9 Procedures for packing, handling, storage, transportation, safety, cleanliness Contains all the necessary procedures for a correct and safety management of the product during all handling, transport and storage phases. SECT.10 Test report PRC/Pi/QC/005 Issue: A Pag. 7 of 9 Contains copies of the test reports or as minimum the reports list and where are physically stored SECT.11 Ground support equipment (GSE) list Contains the list of the mechanical equipment (MGSE), electrical equipments (EGSE) or other that is necessary for the activities on the product SECT.12 Applicable S/W list Contains the applicable S/W list at last S/W version SECT.13 EIDP’s list (subco’s H/W-S/W, GSE) Contains the list of EIDP (or Log-book) provided by subassy/unit suppliers SECT.14 Loose item list (not installed items & spare) Contains the list of loose parts, not installed and spares provided with product SECT.15 Missing item list Contains the list of the item that is not available at the moment SECT.16 Other data and remarks Contains eventual additional information or other documents not foreseen by standard EIDP content 6.3 EIDP PREPARTION AND RESPONSIBILITY The EIDP preparation, start in the same time with the product activities, evolving until the product termination in order to have the document (EIDP) available and completely updated. The responsibility for preparation and issuing are: a) Configuration management - Prepare and issue the documents as per section 3 and 5 - Prepare and issue the part 1 of the EIDP - Collect and assemble the part 2 of the EIDP according to part 1 - Reproduce and distribute the complete EIDP PRC/Pi/QC/005 Issue: A Pag. 8 of 9 b) Quality control - Complete and provide the Log-book - Prepare and issue the certificate of conformity c) Project manager - - Is responsible for preparation of all the technical documentation (test reports, drawings etc.) Approve the complete EIDP PRC/Pi/QC/005 Issue: A Pag. 9 of 9 Distribution list
