INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Partridge & Garcia P.C. (Trademarks, Copyright, Internet) Partridge & Garcia P.C. is a boutique law firm with a global practice protecting brands, content and ideas in court, online and in the boardroom. We focus on litigation, transactions and IP strategy involving trademarks, copyright and the Internet to help businesses resolve disputes and increase value. Externs will be involved in various assignments, including but not limited to the following: Research and drafting of memoranda on legal issues; cite checking of appellate briefs and other legal documents; participation in client meetings and internal practice group meetings; assistance in research and drafting of paper and articles for publication. These assignments are expected to focus not only on intellectual property, but trademark, copyright and internet law in particular. Prior or concurrent coursework in intellectual property, as well as a background and interest in federal litigation are recommended.
